Build Your Butterfly Garden Size Update Guide
The Size Update for Build Your Butterfly Garden introduced a new butterfly size system where Eggs exposed to Rainy or Eclipse weather can hatch into larger specimens with improved Nectar potential. Chocolatine Games also increased weather frequency, added garden decorations, and rolled out VIP improvements in the same patch cycle.
New Butterfly Size System
Before the Size Update, butterfly size was mostly cosmetic. Now mutated Eggs from weather events produce measurably larger butterflies that community testing suggests can outperform standard hatches on upgraded Flowerbeds.
Size mutations apply when Eggs are in your garden during Rainy or Eclipse weather, not while sitting in inventory. Plan garden placement before weather starts.

More Frequent Weather
Weather events now occur more often per session, giving more chances to mutate Eggs without waiting entire play sessions. This synergizes with the PixieShop 3x Luck code — redeem Luck when weather is active for rarity and size simultaneously.
