Build Your Butterfly Garden Cat Pet Guide
The Cat Pet is the newest code-unlock companion in Build Your Butterfly Garden as of August 2026. Redeem the <strong>Meow</strong> code through the in-game settings menu and a Cat companion joins your garden roster instantly — no obby, no Treasure Hunt, no bamboo puzzle. This guide covers redemption, equipping, and how the Cat compares to Turtle, Panda, and Baby Dragon.
How to Redeem Meow for the Cat Pet
Open Build Your Butterfly Garden and click the gear icon in the top-right corner — the same menu used for all code redemption. Paste Meow exactly as written (camelCase matters) and confirm.
If the code is active, the Cat Pet appears in your pets collection immediately. Copy the latest status from our active codes page before redeeming to avoid typos or expired attempts.
Code pets can expire when Chocolatine Games rotates promotions. Redeem Meow as soon as you confirm it works on your client.
- Open Settings (gear icon, top-right)
- Paste Meow in the code field
- Confirm redemption and check your pets menu
- Equip the Cat from the companion selector
Equipping and Displaying the Cat
Build Your Butterfly Garden shows one active pet at a time in your garden. After redeeming Meow, open the pets menu and select the Cat to display it while you farm Nectar or build showcases.
The Cat pairs well with cozy garden themes and August 2026 ocean builds — place it near Grove Flowerbeds or Coral Arch decorations for a relaxed coastal vibe.
Pets are cosmetic only. Equipping the Cat does not change Flowerbed output, Luck Boost odds, or offline Nectar. See our pets hub for the full roster.
Cat vs Turtle, Panda, and Baby Dragon
Cat Pet — Fastest unlock via Meow code. Best for new players who want a companion on day one.
Turtle — Ocean Update Part 2 Treasure Hunt reward. Requires exploration but no code dependency. See Turtle pet guide.
