How to Earn Offline Nectar in Build Your Butterfly Garden
Build Your Butterfly Garden features an idle progression system where Flowerbeds continue generating Nectar while you are away. Optimizing your garden before logging off is one of the most impactful habits you can develop.
How Offline Nectar Works
When you log out, all active Flowerbeds with butterflies assigned continue producing Nectar at their current upgrade level rate. When you return, accumulated Nectar is added to your balance automatically.
There is no manual collection step for offline earnings. The game calculates income based on the time elapsed and your Flowerbed configuration at logout.
Pre-Logout Checklist
Before closing the game, verify that every Flowerbed has your best available butterfly assigned. An empty Flowerbed generates zero income regardless of how long you are away.
Upgrade priority matters: higher-level Flowerbeds produce more per hour offline. Invest Nectar in upgrades before logging off for extended periods like overnight sessions.
