Luck Boosts in Build Your Butterfly Garden multiply your Egg hatch odds for a limited timer — typically 15 minutes per code. PixieShop was the most recent code granting 3x Luck before expiring on July 23, 2026. This guide explains how to prepare for the next Luck Boost code and how to maximize any active window with weather and event Eggs.
How Luck Boosts Work
Redeeming a Luck Boost code through the in-game settings menu immediately starts a 15-minute timer. During this window, every Egg you hatch rolls with multiplied luck, improving odds for rare and event butterflies.
Unlike Flowerbed or Egg codes, Luck Boosts are consumable timers. You cannot pause them. Plan your session before redeeming. When a new code appears, copy it from our active codes list to avoid camelCase typos.
PixieShop (3x Luck, 15 minutes) was the last working code before the July 23, 2026 expiration. The strategies below apply to any future Luck Boost Chocolatine Games releases.
Pre-Hatch Checklist (Do This Before Redeeming)
Stock your inventory with the highest-value Eggs you own: Rainbow Eggs, Fairy Eggs, Japanese Eggs (if obtained before PLAZAUPDATE expired), or any event Eggs from the eggs guide.
Stand near your hatching area and clear distractions. On mobile, disable auto-correct before pasting codes in the settings menu.
If Rainy or Eclipse weather is active, hatch during the Luck window for both rarity and potential size mutations. Read the Size Update guide for weather timing.
- Queue 3–5 premium Eggs ready to open back-to-back
- Confirm weather status if chasing size mutations
- Assign hatched butterflies to upgraded Flowerbeds immediately after
- Skip common starter Eggs — they waste Luck time
Stacking Luck With Weather & Events
The Size Update made weather events more frequent. Rainy and Eclipse conditions mutate Eggs left in your garden, producing larger butterflies that may outperform standard specimens on the tier list.
The ideal sequence: wait for weather → redeem Luck Boost code → hatch event Eggs in garden during both Luck and weather → place results on maxed Flowerbeds.
Fairy Update Part II butterflies like Rainbow Prism benefit enormously from stacked Luck. If you still have Rainbow Eggs, prioritize them inside any active Luck window.
Common Mistakes
Redeeming a Luck Boost at the start of a session without Eggs ready burns most of the 15 minutes on menu navigation. Always redeem mid-session when you are ready to hatch continuously.
Using Luck on a single common Egg is the biggest waste. Save boosts for sessions where you can hatch multiple high-tier Eggs within the timer.
